Welcome to Freben Maa Language Hub

A digital initiative hosted by Maasai Heritage, keeping the pulse of the Maa language alive globally. We are dedicated to preserving, celebrating, and teaching the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of the Maa-speaking people.

We are Fred (Frederick Parkesua) and Ben (Benson Narankaik), the founders of Freben. As passionate cultural advocates and educators, we realized that digital spaces lacked a comprehensive, modern resource for learning the Maa language. Combining our deep respect for Maasai and Samburu heritage with modern instructional design, we built this hub on the Maasai Heritage Platform to serve as a living digital archive and a vibrant global classroom.
